Ruby Magazine
I created a magazine, gathered submissions, contributed my own work, curated and edited the issue, and released it for the Creative's and Entrepreneurship class at Parsons. This also included creating the budget and business model for the magazine.
Description of magazine: Through the lens of the ruby as a protection of love and self-love and luck, Ruby magazine promotes a community for student creatives to collaborate in processing pertinent issues together. The magazine as a collective art piece is shared with the public to inspire students through works of art and open the discussion on significant human experiences, promoting change through emotional expression and processes of creation.
Photography
I have taken photos for most of my life, first as a passion when I was a child, then more and more as I grew older and with more of a focus on it. Through many photography classes in high school, and then a focus in college, I have explored many different kinds of the form and created projects of related images.
Gorge
This project aims to use the human subject as the site for an investigation of color and shape, changing both through the use of high contrast and colorful lighting. The subjects come out of the darkness, but part of them remains there, creating abstract shapes as the light hits only pieces of their bodies.
